From the Mouth of Sophia.

Sophia was born on February 8th 2007 and hasn't stopped talking since.

She can talk your ear off. She can talk while you talk, right over you, like you aren't even saying a thing. She talks while dancing and her mouth barley closes to take swim lessons. She talks in her sleep and talks when she can't fall asleep.

She asks more questions a minute than Baskin Robbins has flavors, disputes even the most simplest of answers and covers more topics than Wikipedia.

My Aunt Joan came to visit last week. She was in our house for about 10 minutes before we had to hit the road and in those ten minutes, Sophia must have asked her about 4 dozen questions, covering topics ranging from, the mental status Joan's daughters, whom Sophia has never met to wondering what was wrong with her leg and why she needed that floral cane with the silver pretty top.

"It's so pretty", she said, over and over and over again.

She likes to talk so much, it's only fitting she loves to sing. She makes up songs that she sings to her baby brother and and can entertain a crowd of dolls better than Lady GaGa on opening night of her tour.

She also likes to recite things, whether it's stories, parts from books we've read, or what she heard that day in preschool.

If it's got words, she's all over it.

So it's only fitting that when Sophia started preschool last fall, she was able to recite the Pledge of Allegiance after being there for only one week.

Perfect of the 4th of July right?

Happy July 4th Weekend from my blog to yours.
