LOL Seems as though she did not care for the leaves. They say kids who eat dirt need minerals. I don't know. My son used to sit in his swing and reach down with a little shell shaped shovel and spoon dirt into his mouth. We lived in the redwoods and it had itty bitty pieces of bark. I think I fed him enough, he just like it I guess. Happy WW
Yep, 3 of my 4 are girls, & a couple of them are far "grosser" than my boy ever was LOL! Besides, I've always taught them girls can anything boys can do! Happy WW! :-)
Looks like you hit "pay dirt" with this pic! Sophia is too cute--dirt-crusted lips and all. Looks like she's not the only dainty little thing that goes a step beyond making dirt pies. "Pica" is the technical term for eating non-food items (you used to hear this all of the time when pregnant women craved red clay and starch and such). Bon apetit! p.s. I left a comment on your chili stoup recipe, too.
Could it be a girl thing? My daughter was like that, too... but we never had that issue with my son when he was a baby. =)
ReplyDeletemmm, crunchy!
ReplyDeleteMy little princess used to eat dirt too. Infact she once ate a snail :/ Happy WW thanks for linking up :)
