My participation in this amazing campaign as part of the Chevy Mom Squad, for the Philly Mom's Time Out campaign,is coming to an end, 10 days to go, but who's counting?
Soon I will be driving my mom-mobile, so I thought I'd reflect a bit on the 13 things I love about the Chevy Traverse.
13. My husband would say he loves the big powerful 288 horsepower engine, big surprise, and....
12. the 20" wheels. Can I put these on my mini van?
11. The driver seat memory settings. Instead of a 1 and 2, they should have a "him" and a "hers".
10. XM radio. Lots of channels, lots of choices.
9. Bluetooth. In New Jersey, it is against the law to talk on your cell phone. I did it once, for 30 seconds, at a stop light, it cost me $130.....never again.
8. The MP3 player input. In my car, the input for my iPod is a remote thingy I have to plug in through my car's cigarette lighter. In this car, it has a USB plug, nicely hidden in a compartment on the dashboard.
7. The Navigation System. My car doesn't have this and I took it for granted, shrugged it off and said "big deal". Two words, LOVE IT. It gets you were you want to go, to new places and familiar places. If you get lost, it calmly keeps getting you back on course.
6. Heated seats. This does not even need an explanation. Which leads leads me to number 5...
5. Air conditioner seats. I didn't even know they existed.
4.Remote Start. Sick of hearing the kids whine first thing in the morning that the car is cold? No more.
3.Sick of hearing the kids Whine, period? Put on the DVD player and let them wear their wireless earphones, yep, wireless. They can listen to the DVD and you can talk to you hubby or hear your self think, speak and complete thoughts.
2. The Power Lift Gate. We wish we had 2 sets of arms so because we only have one, Chevy provides the other. One touch trunk opening at it's finest.
1 This car is beautiful and sexy. And behind it, I don't feel like a mom driving kids, I feel like a mom driving an awesome luxury car, because that's exactly what the Chevy Traverse LTZ is.

Air conditioner seats? I want me some.
ReplyDeleteI wish when I had my car it had a dvd in the back. That would have been sooooooooo nice. LOL!
ReplyDeleteEarlier this year I did something I'd never done before - purchased a new car right off the lot. I ♥♥♥ my XM and my Bluetooth. I never listen to the radio anymore - seriously. XM all the way!
ReplyDeleteAnd A/C seats?!? How awesome is that - I'm jealous.
Happy T13

Sounds like a great vehicle. I would love to have auto start on my Jeep. And a/c seat? How cool is that? I want those too. That way hubby and myself could each have our own happy temp settings...he could use his seat heater all year round and I could use the a/c feature.
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
Every married couple should have memory settings. Imagine how many marriages it would save.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

What is a Freelander when you have this one. Hubby is trying to convince me for this car once in Canada and I think your 13 reasons are
ReplyDeletevery convincing.
