Wordless Wednesday: Zoo Memories

I am glad it's Wordless Wednesday because with the adjustment in schedule with school and sports, I am having trouble thinking and finding time to post! I have to readjust my blogging schedule and find a time that doesn't' interrupt with getting everyone ready to go somewhere, pick someone up, and still adhere to schedules. I need to find time that gives me a chance to sit in blog in semi-peace, if there is such a thing.
In the meantime, here are pictures from May of 2008. On one of our many trips to the to the Philadelphia Zoo, we came in contact with a very friendly Leopard  who wanted to play with my son (holding the stuffed animal) and his friend. The Zoo Keeper mentioned that although they are interactive, it is rare to find them this friendly. The Leopard approached the glass, playfully swatting at it, sitting right in front of my son, who at the time was 3 years old.
It was a day we'll never forget.

  5. That's so sweet and awesome. Looks as though they are both enjoying themselves. We were just talking today about a visit to the zoo many years agowhen my eldest daughter got sprayed by a leopard behind bars that she tried to interact with, glass is a better idea. They can play without any problems occurring.

  7. Maybe you have a future Dr. Doolittle on your hands if animals like him that much! Too cute. I love the zoo even though I feel bad that the animals are in captivity. I try to tell myself they are well cared for at any rate. Zoo pics make the best scrapbook pages because you get to use all of the fun animal print paper and stickers and stuff!

  26. Oh, that is the sweetest thing! That leopard acted like my cat Pandora, who butts her head toward me when she wants me to kiss the top of it. I can see why your son was thrilled. I would have been thrilled!

My security word is "ziggles." It give me the ziggles just looking at the pictures.
